Description Made as a commonwealth souvenier for the coronation of Edward VIII. Edward abdicated before he was crowned King. It was due to take place on 12th May 1937, but Edward gave up the throne on 11th December, 1936. A lot of companies throughout the Commonwealth had their souveniers made ready to go. Many companies had to destroy their stock. others just put it up for sale anyway. This porridge bowl measures 16.5cm in diameter x 4cm high.
